by A Shame In His Eyes   Mar 4, 2012

It was just another love gone wrong,
Another day that I had to learn to move on.
To hide the hurt, became too much work.
To learn to smile, hurt more than the pain.
Always distracted by the thought of you with her,
That my heart finally learned to hate the sight of you all together.
The lies blocked my heart from any truth.
Lies became truth, truth became lies.
Hurt became the satisfaction I had longed for.
Happiness no longer seemed like a human emotion anymore.
The truth was your enemy,
And it soon became mine, too.
Lies was all I was use to,
Because I was used to you.
We built a happy family,
One I thought not even the worst could touch.
She stepped in,
And that's when the end began.
