Birth of Spring

by Maple Tree   Mar 4, 2012

I've exhausted my anguish
locked It away within a snowflake
watched as they dissolved,
greeting early spring
with a sweet kiss goodbye.

Upon a new seasons birth
I embrace the freshness
of a new day, true purity
rejuvenated and excited
as our smiles become a
promise
for a brighter tomorrow....

Lovely symbolism! I don't even know how you come up with the the phrases you do but they always grip the readers heart. I got goosebumps when I read this little piece. It's so wonderful. My understanding of it, is letting the worries of yesterday go to try and look onward for a brighter future. It gives hope and shows inner-peace. Flows well, shows heart. I like this! :)
