Unborn Child (Nove Otto)

by Lioness   Mar 5, 2012

I picture your smile, oh, so sweet,
kissing your cheeks, tickling your feet.
My darling, it's you in my dreams.
Holding you close ever so tight.
Falling asleep with me at night.
Eyes that melt me, eyes that would gleam.
Though I know, it may never be
That I'll have a child, made from me.
For now, darling, please let me dream

Very sad :( yet the poem was beautifully worded. You kept the poem simple but the effect it had on me the reader was massive.

Defnitly is a sad poem, though it did start out really lovely and nice but then it really deepened in the end, really did have an impact because you painted a nice picture at the beginning of something you dream of. . I can already see that you love this unborn baby, I too hope your blessed with one :)

I'd be lying if I said.. I feel your pain.

But you don't know that with this write you have crumpled my heart... I was touched from head to toe. First, the title... and then, the beautiful bright scenery in the beginning, and the complete melancholy in the end.

You really deserve the best in life, Liz.
You are a true woman, I wish you fill the world with happy people...

    ~ love.
