The Tales Are True.

by AJ Goodpaster   Mar 14, 2012

With times of old,
Have long gone and went.
Fairy Tales lost
Grimm Bothers were spent.

We dream for a day
To find our true love.
To find the peace,
That sores from a dove.

To wish a wish,
From a mirror covered in dust.
Drive the carriage,
The wheels dashed with rust.

For we dream a bit,
For our prince or princess.
We find our love,
Our emotions we confess.

They break our hearts,
And make us go insane.
We turn to the dark,
To get rid of our pain.

Mirrior, mirror,
Show to me
Of much better
I can be.

Show me love,
Show me hate,
Sow the salt,
And choose my fate.

Am I perfect,
Am I dead?
In my eyes,
Its just blood red.

A story is told
Of danger defined.
Of elvs shooting arrows,
And Dwarfs in the mines.

Giants are evil,
As Goblins are too.
Maybe we have it wrong,
or the stories are true.

Just a tale,
Truth be told.
Of heroes we love,
And dragons of old.

I end this tale,
Not a happy ending.
I am the Knight,
I'm not pretending.
