Chessboard Life

Making a right decision would be right
but what if it turns out wrong is the question.
We move around depending on actions taken,
not realizing where it leads us or the pathway it creates.

Protection is a distance away,
open to vulnerability you will stand
without a iron beam structure ready to tumble

If you don't get your own way
the world will never be the same,
your feelings will simply tell you
that will turn out true, but who's to blame

You are inbound of manipulation of both numbers
and letters, that are used to preserve you from
falling as a silent tree,
but does it make a sound if know one hears it?

    Good poem but you could have used some imagery based on the chessboard
    That way people have an easier time reading it

      Thanks :), yeah the poem title is a metaphor in terms of what moves, actions, decisions you take in life which determines the path your taking and where it leads you towards your goals.

    Hehe lol............yeah i haven't really seen much of the harry potter movies o.O i guess life is like a chess board, its depends on your moves and decisions you take in life that determines your path :)
