Crumbled Paper

by believeinlove87   Mar 14, 2012

Sitting in front of my desk,
a blank piece of paper lays beneath me,
fidgeting with my pen in my hand,
struggling to come up with a half way decent
sentence, I start to give up.

Weeks without being able to compose one stanza,
out of frustration I throw my pen at the wall,
crumbled up balls of paper overfill the trash bin,
straining my brain over thinking about what has made
me lose my motivation for poetry;
why its nearly impossible to form anything.

Sitting in front of my desk,
I let out an overwhelming sigh,
endlessly anticipating for a miracle to happen,
i take a deep breath in hopes it will relax me,
as nothing; not even a single word comes to mind.

- Not the best. I'm currently incapable of writing anything :/ -

Holly don't get tensed over this. Its quiet normal to all writers. The ideas will blossom naturally when the time, mindset, place and thoughts is at peace with it self. Forcing it will only worsen the case. Just relax and don't ponder too much about it. Something happy or sad might just trigger your drive back when you least expect it. All ideas comes differently, so be happy and let go of that negativity. Try and cheer up, you can never from where your drive will spring up. Take care and be happy dear. Cheers! Blessings to you. :-)

Yeah i sometimes run out of ideas, but if your trying too hard to write a poem the words will never come to you. Find the scope for your poem then figure a way to go about it, then all the words will come flooding in =) nice poem
