Shes Gone.

by Jump from Life   Mar 18, 2012

She finally breaks from the pain
As she crumples down in the rain.
Her eyes never seeing the light of day
All because of the words you'd say.

The light she used to hold is out
As in her mind, slowly creeped in doubt.
In the dark of night nobody saw
Just how much she wished her heart would thaw.

Frozen in time from the hurt
Every day she'd have to divert
The questions from the people around her
And nobody notices her ever shiver.

Her mind was cold, dark, and bleak
The knifes sweet kiss always made her weak.
Nobody knew of the fight she had inside,
Nobody noticed the tears that she cried.

One day she had had enough,
She was sick of having to pull down her cuff
To hide the scars on her wrists.
Her life had taken too many twists.

She walked into the downstairs,
Knowing that nobody cares.
She kept popping in pill after pill
Until she had finally had her fill.

Now she is on the floor,
Right in perfect view of the closed door.
Her father comes in screaming,
His anger is truly seething.

Too bad he didn't know before.
That his little girl was killed to her core,
Because its his fault she's gone.
It's his fault she'll never see another dawn.
