There's no escaping

Cognitive thinking
comes second.
Coherence can' t be
compared with
when "Chemistry"
comes along.

When you have
the room temperature
dropping on you,
feverishly acknowledging,
that there's just
this taste of
infatuation in the air.

That's when
you know
you can't escape

You find yourself
driving to silence,
drooling serotonins,
scratching one
too many times,
looking the other way,
Chemistry is here

You just did not
have the audacity
to remind yourself
What you already agreed:
"Weakness should never
make you stumble
into piles and piles
of could-be's.

You state that
you are coded this way
Living with the residue
The ever fulfilling
desire of seeking after Affinity

Confidence can't
stand a chance
when Chemistry comes along

There's no space to
cover all which kept
you gasping for air

Chemistry wearing
its suit and ease
of "never-before"

Comes strolling in,
leaving high expectations
in the air
Shaking his head,
looking through you,
you are not ready,
timidity got the best of you
Leaving traces,
skipping heartbeats,
hard to recognize
hard to decipher
when chemistry comes along.
