I've never seen this film but your poetry makes me want to, if it is at least half as great.

    I can hear a
    symphony of
    magical notes
    working in harmony
and it's as if the tunes
    of nature are being
    played just for me.

    The music vibrates
    my soul at dawn when
    the sun rises and it
    hums to me until
    the sun sets at
    dusk.

^^^^^These stanza's were the most enticing I have read in ages, more over than that, the imagery was just so damn perfect, I can't fault anything.

It made me long for that Autumn air, the sun and warmth, the music aspect was a beautiful addition

    Loved it.

Mmm... You know that I adore pieces based on stories.. songs.. or inspired by them... ahh! that was magical.

The ending was something I never expected! And.. August Rush?
    I mean.. beautiful name!

    I had never played
    an instrument
    before or even
    held one in
    my hand -
    until now.

^ I THINK I have watched this before... Is it a French movie???? because in class, we have watched something similar... orphaned or criminal children who are taught music.. and make their own symphony.

    but I don't remember the movie's name :P

    I am the orphan
    prodigy with
    nothing and
    everything
    to lose.

^ This stanza struck me the most.

    and I will play
    my music until
    they can hear
    me and finally,
    bring me
    home.

^ woooow. I can see the determination in the boy's eyes...

--- I have held an instrument in my hands before but I guess music it's not for me to play but to listen and enjoy it. I haven't watch this movie but I just took a small peek at the trailer and it looks pretty good, I will surely watch it some of this days. I like that you use first person instead of third person. It makes the poem feel more personal and it also shows how much you like the movie and that makes me want to watch it even more.
