A Road to Light the Way~

The world tells us something
different each day,
it can be a strike to our
old explanations-
a drug we accept
a lie we swallow down
all because we feel
this is who humanity is......
every time we look outside
the contradictions seem to mix us,
until our minds are
tempering with the weather
inside our souls.

We're allowed to be confused
once in a while,
as long as we realize
that with the Lord at our side
never is something
we must banish from our language.

Walk the road of light
though it may rise with more
than simple stepping stones,
I know it will take you
where God needs you to be.

It may not be what I thought
my hunger wanted-
but if this is how to experience
hope,
than this life I will entrust
to Him.

Love you God, thanks for this 1st Spring day-

    Wow, I liked this one.

    What I got from this poem is the message which I so strongle believe in : Everything happens for a reason. It is not always the way we want it to be, but it is the way it is meant to be.

    You have created a very lovely poem using the simple things like what we witness each day.

    My favourite part is : until our minds are
    tempering with the weather
    inside our souls.

    I have never read anything like this before and it really stands out to me, very powerful and I am sure a lot of readers can relate to the battle we have inside ourselves.

    I choose to read this poem because of the title, It sounded such a hopeful poem, which it turned out just to be. So thank you.
