Fake Friend

by Kelly Zuch   Mar 29, 2012

One day You were there
The next I was unaware
This girl I use to call my friend
But now I know you were pretend
You'd call me up on the phone
Calling me asking if I was home
Most the time I was blind to the bone
If only I had been aware, I would have known
That you were a fake friend
You waited around the bend
I caught you on the couch
Then I knew I had no doubts
The day I left you in the cold
The day I left you I was told
Not only were you a liar
I sold my house and you were the buyer
You stole my man and my heart
Can I go back to the very start?
I'd see the signs of your two-faced smile
The things I would have done would have been hostile
But now it's over and I'm too tired
But hey, I heard you got fired
It made my day as I pictured your face
you lost your man and lost your place
Life will look up from now on
Watch me as I go on

We all go thru this one time or another and it sucks when friends turn out to be "fake" :/
