I Would Lie

If you ask me how was my day
I could tell you just fine
if you ask what color I'm wearing today
I'd guess red and white
asking me if I love him
now, that's crossing the line
but if you eventually asked me
I guarantee that I would lie

if you ask if it's going to snow
I'll answer "it just might"
"do you think that she'll cheat ?"
I'll answer "she's with her real man tonight"
asking me if I think about him
might give me a secretive smile
but just because I can
I would still probably lie

when he comes around me
I do get a little stiff and shy
and when our skin brushes against each other
I might let out a deep sigh
so don't ask me if I want him
cause I think about kissing him all the time
but just for the sake of not being embarrassed
I would grind my teeth and lie
