Script

I'm acting these words,
but these words to act are inside
of me.

They are inside of you too.
You are inside, behind,
the mask of acting these words.

And this is a requiem,
a soliloquoy inside, behind
the mask.

Acting these words
inside of me, I fall.

I fall,
and then I stand and act.

Then, I mark the stage,
the standing mark behind
us both.

I walk there.
You are also standing inside,
after you walk there.

Then I cry, where I no longer stand,
but I sit on the stage, inside.

Behind the mask,
I cry real tears.

But, you think it's over.
I think the "but" is
sarcasm,
inside,
and that it is not over,
but it is only outside.

On the stage it looks inside,
but it really is outside
where you cry inside
and I think the mask
is your crying.

You mask your crying
by crying on the inside,
outside.
