Caputered

by Special K   Apr 13, 2012

Mist curls around me
capturing me in it's damp grasp.
Darkness surrounds me
as the taunting voices fill my mind and world.
"Dead, dead dead."
Is all I hear in my head.
Freedom crys my heart with fear.
As the damp finger's grip tighten.
"Freedom freedom freedom!"
Comes my voice in a chant.
Blood- stopping screams
erupted from somewhere close.
I turn ice-cold,
paralyzed with fear.
My voice can no longer be heard.
My heart silent as well.
Sudden brightness is my back round.
The sunlight lighting up shimmering grass.
A gentle breeze flows throughand around me.
There's something wrong in this heaven.
I can no longer move nor hear
the twittering birds that appear in my vision.
I am surrounded by beauty but forbidden
To touch
Why?
Who has rescued me
from my living hell?
Our one and only savior
The lord almighty.
