The winds of change consume me
as a wilted flower struggles to grow.

Upon a tornado sunset, shades
of lilac change to a silent green.

The train is coming, massive
brutality will take a life of joy,

Within a matter of minutes
I will be violated, left empty.

All I can do is stand by and watch,
as the petals disintegrate before my eyes....

Might sound weird but I actually got out of this a victim of rape. When I was reading through I saw parts such as

The winds of change consume me
as a wilted flower struggles to grow.
    ^^
What I got from here was a young girl so small and fragile. And she has undergone a lot of experiences.

    The train is coming, massive
brutality will take a life of joy,
    ^^
Here I was pictured a man over powering a young woman. Taking away her life in a sense. Her way of living just ruined.

    Within a matter of minutes
I will be violated, left empty.

All I can do is stand by and watch,
as the petals disintegrate before my eyes....
    ^^
Then these I saw that she was violated by him and all you can do is just sit there as times passes by. Might be different than you expected but I think this was a great poem either way. Nice write. :)

Things change from one minute to another
something we have no control over.
It is true, ,it makes us feel empty, we see it we watch it, happening right in front of us
    I really enjoyed this piece

This is awesome and crafted with nature as an emphasis on portraying a sad scenario. I see nature, withering before ones eyes, drying and loosing its moisture and lovely colours. I believe this can be conveyed, along a natural disaster that causes havoc. Or can also be a relationship or friendship going frosty, due to some imbalance or misunderstandings between two characters. I love the vivid decriptions, very real and evocative. This is magnificent dear, stay blessed. kUDOS!!! :)...
