So I hold on

by Molly Elizabeth   Apr 16, 2012

You make me better.
You make me okay.
Right now, okay is enough.
So I hold on.

You found the smile I lost. The one he stole.
The one I forgot I had.

You found the me I'd left behind.
The best version, what I could be.
So I hold on.

Your embrace fixes me somehow.
Sometimes, I was numb to feel anything at all.
Sometimes the pain was so unbearable, I thought I could die. But with one embrace, your arms saved me.
In your arms I feel everything.
Love.
I feel love.
So I keep holding on.

And If I'm ever lost from your world,
will you come find me? Bring me back to you.

Because, no matter what
I will always love you;
And how you found my smile.
How you made me feel again.
How you made me okay.

And part of me will always hold on.
Please, tell me you will always hold on.
