THE AXEMEN (limerick)

by Akerele1 Segun22   Apr 25, 2012

So the axemen fell trees on our houses,
Dusting our streets with their black horses,
Saying who would hold us aback.
So they did witho't noticing a crack
That hurled down an oak on their own houses.

Thanks,my friend. This is a limerick poem, telling us that the evil that man does against his fellow brothers will also affect his personal life. The axemen in this poem are callous politicials and law makers who believe they can do and perpetrate evil without be questioned.
