Ocean Eyes

by BlueEyedMystery   May 7, 2012

As it spins out of control
Into a wasteland of
love and humbleness,
I see a tiny glimpse
Of something... anomalous.
Could it be that
The sting
From a life- unlived
No longer has a hold
On the strings rooted in my heart?
Could it be that
This animosity I once held
Is dissolving
Into the acid of his ocean eyes?
This liquid flame
Seeps inside the cracks
That are etched with his name
and his lies.
It devours everything
That could keep this princess
From her fairytale ending.
And finally
she realizes
His ocean eyes are all she needs.
