Whats amazing is the fact that us humans can regret what we want to say before we even say it, or even regret not saying them, when its OUR choice not to....but thats exactly where that saying comes in, some things truly are better left unsaid, regret or no regret. Sometimes it saves from arguing or more hurt....this is a great piece that I know just about every person can relate to.
I thought you actually described this perfectly....as the words creep closer up out of our soul and are so close to spitting them out of the mouth but the brain stops them. Awesome imagery :)

You know, DD-- and have a firm grasp of Times. I like the description of Adam's Apples dining with snakes in pits of an empty tomb.
Only 1 tomb on Earth is empty.
I like also the assent of climbing to the top--merely bringing down a populous, to its utmost ruin. There is always a Remnant though. Peace and Blessings

I feel like this all the time. I always have so much I want to say, all these feelings pent up inside, and poetry seems to be the only way I can let it out, even if it is hidden. Sometimes what you want to say isn't going to make the hurt/pain/situation any easier, but only make you regret the words you WANT to say. This poem is perfect example of that.. and I love the imagery here, too!
