A Heavy Heart

I've had enough
Of pain and sorrow
They told me
"it'll all be over soon."
But it doesn't stop
'tis an endless crusade
That I can endure
No more for
I don't even have
an umbrella
To shelter me
from the madness
Cruelly raining down
Upon a battered soul.
My heavy heart.
