Vampire Mythtakes

by Larry Chamberlin   May 31, 2012

Creatures that come in the night
don't sparkle like Edward
they just come round for a bite
please do leave them interred.

Your ghoulies and vampires
are hardly romantic lovers
if you knew their desires
you'd hide under the covers.

Drink your blood, eat your face,
no gentle handling involved
quit moaning for this chase
only your life will be dissolved.

Edward is a fairy in my opinion, not a real vampire anyway. Amazing piece of writing and that really shows that the way love novels make certain creatures out to be isn't always what they truly are or what they want.

LOL, I love this. I totally agree. I've loved vampires forever, ever since anne rice and they defiently aren't the loving gushy type. And they wouldn't be caught dead wasting love on a mere human. Anyways funny and yet true. Love it! 5.5

    "don't sparkle like Edward"
