Flavor Formed Brain's

by Maple Tree   Jun 2, 2012

I enjoy the comforts of my writing style-
mixing flavored koolaide to exasperate
my mental state of mind...

I shall rhyme with time
disect brains of slime
and so
elegantly...

haiku my sweet sighs
within tiny grains of sand
kissing soft rain drops

below
dark umbrellas
asking demonic ghosts
to share my poetic riddles
as a black widows venom drips slowly
upon my withered, pale eyelids
cascading my viscous
mind mementos
into large piles
below

my feverish soul of yesterday....

Note: This poem is a mixture of forms;

Second stanza: Rhymed couplet
(first two lines)

Third Stanza: Haiku

Fourth Stanza: Rictameter

I love what you have done with this piece!!!

The mixture of forms are amazing and most times it's hard to do one and you've done three. Awesome

I swear that this doesn't sound like formed poetry at all. Usually, they show some restriction, but this was like NO OTHER.

    So cool, Andrea... amazing.
