I really liked this simple heartfelt rhyming poem but this word " Narcotizing " seemed a little out of place for some reason it distracted me from the simplicity of this piece..but i do enjoy reading rhyme, we see so little of it here nowadays so thanks for sharing..very good collab, hope to read more

A very nice rhyme! I have to agree with Lostlove, so little 'poems' rhyme these days being replaced by so called 'free verse', which to me is not a true poem at all, often just a collection of 'written statements' strung together. This one however is a real poem, with all the skill that this rhyme takes to put this together. A sad poem, but a good read.
