She's Gone

by Marquesas   Jun 3, 2012

Even though she is no longer with me
When I close my eyes she's all I see
I am so addicted to her
At just the thought my passion begins to stir
Always she is on mind
Although I was left behind
I remember her impeccable beauty
How deeply she knew me
Piercing eyes that said so much
Soft, warm, compassionate touch
Her body more lovely than any art
Hypnotized by the beating of her heart
Now she is gone for good
To bring her back I'd do whatever I could
Once upon a time she was all I desired
Now without her I am so jaded and tired
Every day, I fight on and push forward
I wonder if my existence is pointless and absurd
I put on a brave face and act strong
But can I keep going and for how long
Every day and night she is all I think of
What am I without her love
All I have left for myself is anguish and shame
Continuing to live a life of sadness and pain

Awww. This is sweet and so sad at the same time!!
Remember the conversations we had about finding that knight/damsel in distress again. It'll happen for you. [otherwise we have got some CRAZY women who don't see a good guy]

Anyway, back to the poem. I love the rhyme. You're amazing at it!!
