Break Me Free

by Alicia   Jun 7, 2012

Break me free of life.

Remove my chains of normality.

Every day the same as before.

The bland endless cycle that never ceases.

Time rolls and blurs together until I can't remember my own name.

What is time when you have none.

What is a name when you're just a face.

What is a life when you are a slave to the cycle.

I long to step out of time. To be more then a face.

For my life to finally have purpose beyond myself.

To step outside of my own self and desires I want more then this.

More then the cycle that pulls me through the week. Or was it the month?

Time moves faster then the swiftest river.

Carrying me along my life, pushing me through each moment of contempt.

Break me free of the cycle.
