I agree, this is extremely powerful. It is very rare that you hear of a politician who does not lie - so naturally, you are going to be disappointed with the results.

I like how you expressed your distaste for politicians in here - I am sure that most people would agree with you :[

    "Talk is cheap, thats
why I hear your fake promises
    but never fully believe
    in them, you political hypocrites"

^ I have to say that this is strongest stanza in this poem. The world 'hypocrite' is such a strong word and it actually sounds like it too. Every time I hear someone say it, I kind of flinch because I know what is going to ensue. Very good choice of words here in my opinion...

    "You speak of better times
    to the multitudes,
    what you will do?
    leading men and women astray"

^ I see a little problem in this stanza. Now I believe that after you ask the question "what will you do?" you answer it in the line afterword, correct? If you did, I believe the answer should be "lead men and women astray" other than that it is a perfect stanza :]

    "I was so unfortunate to
believe in one of your lies,
I campaigned for you, voted for
you, you repaid me with a stab in
    the back, hypocrites you are"

^ I have to say that this is the perfect last stanza for this poem. It leaves the reader with a taste of bitterness in their mouths, or at least it did mine. Also, there is that word 'hypocrites' again. :]

Overall, this is a very strong poem against politicians. I have a feeling that something happened to make you write this poem - I wouldn't know since I don't really pay attention to the political world.

    Strong/powerful/excellent
    5/5

    I don't know much about politics :

but it is really important to know and be well inform about them.
Since whatever they decide now will affect our future.

Edit: Your poem reminded me of that. very well written.

How daring and a strong message portrayed here. I love how you said it with a voice of conviction. Its good to see the young ones selflessly wishing a good cause upon their community. I love the diverse way you talk about the same theme but using a different outlook to convey your thoughts. Welldone with your drive and will to always reform the ways that has been drailing our societal needs.

If the upcoming youths don't have a form of revolution to see to the necessities of deprived peoples needs. We then are heading for a catastrophic future that will be sulking in an escalating percentage of, political insatiables, imbalance in administrations, poor government, injustice, bribery, corruption, unemployment, minimal education and lack of grooming people for a better cause.

    Good read!
