Fountain
Pen in my hand,
my friend down the decades.
Together we have written on
so many pages and
yet our journey
goes on.

Eintou:

African American style poetry form.
Line 1 - 2 syllables
Line 2 - 4 syllables
Line 3 - 6 syllables
Line 4 - 8 syllables
Line 5 - 6 syllables
Line 6 - 4 syllables
Line 7 - 2 syllables

    Well, the form takes the shape of a Diamante, but the structure is totally different. Really good meaning carried through those words.

    ^^^^i agree with the others just simply beautiful, you know i like your writing, but i like that your old school, i too have a pen, the pen with which i write, w e have been through every emotion known to man and well go throughtthem all over again :-)

    Simple and such beautiful truth. I love the friendship and understanding of this pen, how though it has written down many times, it still continues, exists with you.

    To any poet, or writer in general, a simple pen could mean so much - like a friend of sorts - and be with us through some of our best work.
