Nineteen Years

by A Poets Handwriting aka ALISHA   Jun 21, 2012

Another day of celebration
Another year older you've grown
Still a young one in the eyes of many
Today you won't be left alone

Can look back nineteen years
And see all you have achieved
So young, but so full of dreams
Nineteen years ago can you believe?

Though we think of all the positives
It's a painful day for us all
For you reside in Heaven now
Because you answered God's call

The melancholic tone is just beautiful aside from the vibes it sends.

A very sad, yet sweet and heartwarming rememberance. Such a special person, still with a special place in your heart.

    Very nicely written.

This is so sad. Must been a very special
person, too young to die. After all this time
she still remains in all of your hearts
I did like the ending, spending it with mom
