MR MORANS BUTCHER YARD!

by christopher   Jun 21, 2012

In the hamlet, Harrow on the Hill,
Resided lumber-jack, Bill.
And spying from a top towards Harrow;
Observing, a persistent sparrow.

Diving, ducking, dipping, weaving
Annoying Reggy's bull terrier, Jarrow
In Morans butcher yard.
Observing all, lumber- jack Bill, prepares his bard.

Of a sparrow who landed on a rusty wheelbarrow;
Flew onto a bone dripping of marrow,
Then; suddenly swallowed by JARROW!!
In the hamlet of Harrow on the Hill.

    I love the alliteration in this verse, as well as the images it made me see.

    Your poems are clever and take some extra reading to decipher;)

    well done,

    5/5 Ingrid
