February Mirrors

by Maple Tree   Jun 24, 2012

I am beautiful as the sunshine,
dancing upon the mirror before me.

You are my shadow behind a curvy vision,
and I am forever and always yours, my love.

Tasting my wine as I do your thoughts,
my feelings become withered.

Do you remember the winter chill of February?
kissing our laughter as snowflakes melted our nervousness?

Long and loving nights of unspoken words we shared,
look into this mirror with me, and feel the beauty.

Let us shatter this cancer infested reality,
and runaway forever, to the day we first met.

Oh, how we all want to run away from reality sometimes and return to the past with no worries.

Love, hope, and faith will pull you through and I'm glad you are cherishing every moment you can. <3

I was a judge and this was my comment:

I did love the romantic tone in this piece, yet, when I finished I wanted more. More feeling, more desire...however, I was glad since you wrote a short piece you chose words that still drew me in and captivated me. . Nicely done :)

Nice one, reliving old memories is so statisfying but it's not living.
One day we must face our reality and overcome it. But with a person that loves you that shouldn't be a problem.

Oh dear. Look in the mirror, Andrea, look in it sooo deep. Do never be afraid of anything. Share your feelings, love and sadness with him. Live each day in this life. My heart goes ut for you, sweetheart. :( Such a sweet write.
