Such Pride

Can sense the soaring in your heart
The lifting of your spirits
The pure joy you feel at your success

Can see the smile widen on your face
Hear your voice rise with excitement
Feel the tremor of your suppression...

It must feel quite amazing
To have contributed something
to the world in which we live

To have such pride
In order to look back and say:

'I did that'

    This is definitely an excellent read for those who have accomplished whatever significant thing in their lives. its like a public commemoration for those that have earned it, and i think anyone can get behind that. overall i thoroughly enjoyed it though it could maybe tolerate a once over again for fine tuning. nothing sticks out in particular, but i feel as though its potential hasnt been fully reached if that makes sense. overall though, 5/5

    Typos: I believe in the second line 'Thw' is supposed to be 'The.'

    I would add 'Can you' or something like that at the beginning of the poem - it would just make it people understand it better. I would also at 'you' in between 'Can' and 'see.' However, that is just my opinion.

    I really like this poem, Alisha. To tell you the truth, I think people who have succeed in doing this deserve this. They have right to feel happy at what they accomplish, I just wish that I could do something like that :]
