Aloe Tears

by Maple Tree & Decayed   Jul 4, 2012

Shades of mint devour
a senseless soul,
heal my grief stricken heart
for the sun has failed to shine
today, and I...

I kissed the hands of time
to pluck my petals,
enshroud them in mist
not dust, for my stem
is nurtured by dreary,
not chivalry.

Pale dew drops
fail to hydrate a
lonesome soul
trapped in darkness,
our roots grow
restless,

and we grow timeless.

:O How beautiful but sad is this write!!!

Firstly the title made me think of the tissues that have Aloe on them that when you're sick or crying a lot, that you don't hurt yourself because the tissues are too rough.

I adored this write, the beauty between you two fit wonderfully.

    Awesome collab!!!
