Under The Apple Tree

by E Dacaf   Jul 16, 2012

Cool in the shade of the apple tree's height,
I sit with my MaryAnn very late at night.

I kiss her and hold her and call her my own,
A wife I will make her for my merry home.

Her hand he's denied me cause we've only just met,
But he'll get what he'll get I'll make you a bet.

He wont allow me to see his daughter,
And because of this...her father I'll slaughter.

Awesome rhyme and flow E....but I am not surprised...seeing that the apple does not fall far from the tree :)
