Beautiful friend

If only you could see how beautiful you are
both inside and out.

You would see the beauty you hold,
witnessed by everyone else.

The way you care so deeply
and the support you offer friends.

Even through your own struggles
you always stand by them.

I know that I am grateful
for the person that you are.

You are someone truly special
with a very unique heart.

Not only am I proud of you,
I am proud to be your friend.

And if I could, I would give you my eyes
so I could make you see.

The beauty of this person
who is looking back at me.

    WOW!!! I really loved this poem =]

    Its always what i thought of when you have that special friend and you know they are always honest with you and appreciate everything they do. This poem is very understanding of a friend who is there no matter what and he/she tell you things for your own benefit as you are always looking out for them :)
