The Gabbing of L

by Maple Tree   Jul 28, 2012

If I were to feverishly bite my lip
in sequence of each syllable you
spewed out of your gabbing mouth,

my lips would bleed for all of eternity-

Silence, please
this is my polite
way of saying
you speak a thousand tales,
and only in the echos of nothing,
can I receive the truth from you....

There is always that one person that won't shut up...and maybe one story out of all they tell might have some truth in it, lol.

I really like how you captured all of that in this. It's wonderful and I added it to my favs!

I cant help but wonder how many people wish they could show this to someone in their life right now. That person who is always saying everything about something they know nothing about.

Good poem and hope it helped to get it out! x

All we can is try, but there comes a time
we have to let it go. seeking the truth
    at times can be wasteful.
    People are who they are.
    Thanks for sharing Andrea
