Thanks for the inspiration. I wrote that off and I'm so unsure of it. But I needed to write.

    Seriously, thanks. :)

I bet you still remember the Southern
    Corniche? Perhaps the sands of
both my body and your writes?
Or the way I opened a small tincan of
    sardine, squeezed lemons
    and caressed your chest...

    ^ DEFINITELY NOMINATED TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can understand some of your metaphors but not all and this is what makes this poem so intriguing because it allows the reader to conjure up their own vision and, while it maybe different to what you're saying here it's still very enjoyable to have different interpretations I think. You have put together some beautiful sentences here...and they just seemed to merge perfectly.

I wonder about your title...Fishermen because you are talking about one person in the poem?

Last night, I thought of my
    coward dreams that buried itself

    ^^^^
I think "cowardly dream that buried itself "sounds a bit better?

    Last night, you were over-rated
for my liking with your smiles, stares and
    insignificant gestures
    ^^^^^

This I absolutely loved...loved! and your ending...

Last night, I needed to fish
in that lifeless sea of our memories
but I could't touch a wave without you.

    Just WOW!
