Beyond the Staples

"Beyond the Staples"

Just Beyond my misty window pane,
In Moon drenched grassy plots.
Lightning reveals staring beings through the Rain,
Real or paranoia meadow Thoughts?

Down deep only microscopic lens can go,
Alarming stabbing aches and Pains.
Preemptive detection where cancer grows,
Or Ordinary Old Age Washing the Brain?

Out there Beyond Light and Dark,
A Landscape of Moral Good and Evil.
Foundation Meta-physic Original Spark,
Or Secular Science Triumphant Crowning Romance Medieval?

Between the Crevice of a Mind's Eye,
Mid-Life Crises Flows like a babbling Brook.
Where Creative Force of Imagination Resides,
Freewill Blank pages, beyond the staples of a Book ....

Nice, very nice! I really like your use of words. I got a little lost, as I was going through the poem because I didn't know how they were all connected, but it came together nicely, at the end. If you don't mind my asking, is there a reason why you capitalize certain words? I noticed that in your other poems, too. Are they titles of subjects in a book?
