Us

by Love Hurts   Sep 3, 2012

I'm dieing inside.
I don't know why.
Perhaps it' her secrets
refusing to say goodbye.
She's cried so long
Tears that stay inside.
Her soul sobs, yet her eyes release not one tear.
I pray to you, Lord.
Let those tears fall
The ones sealed inside.
Let her grief show
before it breaks her
In to the shards of giving up.
I decided to play along
Like everything is just fine
But were only fooling ourselves.
It seems god has a different plan in mind for us.
Do you see those two girls on the sideline?
One so torn up she looks like death?
The other sobbing out her fears to the world.
That might be us someday.
Unless we tell.
