Amorous

by Lofallenve   Sep 5, 2012

He was my congenial aubade,
in the this ever dismal nighttide.
A simple act of Moirai when our souls
had the pleasure of being acquainted.

From whence I thought I was sagacious,
Treading the broken terrain with prim steps.
disregarding the dangers of the broken,
if ever I was only being asinine.

But he was my gravitation,
the beautiful aubade during the day
the sensuous celestial body of night,
all around my universe in between.

I haven't carried a single affliction,
the only emotion that comes to mind
is the sweet concomitant of notalgia.

I love the style in this, as well as the simplicity. The vocab could have been a bit stronger, but all in all a very nice piece. Your voice was clear and you seemed to compose a fair piece.
