Break Loose

There is no need to seek the
presence of me, for my hands
are entwined with the night.
I move with every migrating
whisper, and I bounce with the
echoes of sorrow released
with the birth of a twilight.

My eyes are veiled with shadows
of darkness, still I can see right
through you. Your weakness cant
fool my sharp senses, for I still
savor the smell of raw blood with
a hint of bitterness.

I drag my fingers on your chest
only to feed my hunger with the
sound of your beating heart. My
strokes hit you like a bullet, and
you bleed like a weakened sea
that lost the pace of its waves.

I walk with no reflection ..

See, I'm an idea that spreads like
a virus. I'm a virus that lingers deep
into your soul. I'm a soul searcher;
a hungry hunter. I'm a prey to my
own demons, and you are the only
prey that is mine.

    WOW!! I swear, I have come to really LOVE dark poetry, and that creeps me out. This is phenominal meme. Amazing metaphors, amazing word chose, I loved this whole piece. I loved what you were "Craving" here. You left me getting so involved with this poem, I almost found myself agreeing with you. Seriously amazing write that can move the readers. Loved it.

    Darkness hunts us all with the goal to consume us.
    That why we must stay in the light and contain our darkness instead of wearing it like an old , comfy coat.
