Now what did I tell you about your endings? :) I think this is one of the best dark poems I've read here.
I love the "weakened sea" image and simile. I've been writing about the sea/ocean so much lately, and that somehow added a sad tone to this piece for me.
But the metaphors in the end made the poem for me. Breathtaking. Keep writing, Meme.

Darkness hunts us all with the goal to consume us.
That why we must stay in the light and contain our darkness instead of wearing it like an old , comfy coat.

WOW!! I swear, I have come to really LOVE dark poetry, and that creeps me out. This is phenominal meme. Amazing metaphors, amazing word chose, I loved this whole piece. I loved what you were "Craving" here. You left me getting so involved with this poem, I almost found myself agreeing with you. Seriously amazing write that can move the readers. Loved it.
