Tears falling down beautiful eyes
I so wish I can wipe them dry

^^ This is a lovely start. It's simple and sweet, it pulls people in and it really shows where this piece is going to end up.

Can't see the pain on my friend' face
Can't imagine the inner suffering

^^ Knowing someone in any sort of pain is hard, especially when they are far or young, or in some other way improbable to help.

Oh how I wish for an early spring
To say goodbye to this winter of gloom

^^ I have to say I really like this stanza. The description is almost artsy in a way. to a degree it seems cliche' but oh well, its still wonderful. And a good visual of the friends inner being at the moment.

I know you have the inner strength
The will to conquer the biggest blues

^^ This one shows a loving or caring hand, the encouragement most people need to get through "hard" times.

Beauty and wisdom you already have
A dream to succeed is what you need

^^ More of the encouragement as well as a simple complement to cheer anyone up. Nice touch. I really like the sound of this one by the way.

You will always be in my heart
Cherished even when we are oceans apart

^^ That's sweet, I love how you show just how magnificent of a friend you have and how much they truly mean to you.

You have given me a friend's love
One day, I will have that warm embrace

^^ This reminds me of a song I loved when I was little, but now that I think of it I cannot remember the name of it. Either way, its sweet.

A lone soul, this was a great poem, it can sure lift someone's from feeling down specially that it's coming from a friend to a friend. so I hope your friend reads this poem.

The intentions are clear that you care for this young lady who is your friend and also it shows how you see this lady as beautiful and smart and that you wish to see her happy and not depressed. The way it's written, it's more like for a younger sister type of tone and I like that.

This piece was very touching and comforting ..... I adore friendship poems, because for me its a friend expressing their love and compassion for another... its a beautiful gift and when someone is attacked by the blues, nothing says it better than a poem of hope...

I also want to say that its comforting to the reader who may be experiencing some blues of their own... its very comforting read!!

I adored the ending rhyme couplet... It was a nice added touch to this piece...
