Romantist

by Robert   Oct 2, 2012

My long lost lover I miss you so
Take my hand, and lets venture on slow
I know I seem a little too shallow,
But as time goes on I know we can handle

My heart beats hard, as you walk on by
I lose my focus when your on my mind
I stutter my words in an attempt to try
To convey my feelings, no need for a lie

I love you dearly and this is the truth
your smile so deadly, it crushes my youth
To hold you close, and never let go
As I take my steps across the scorching coal

Racing toward the one in the light
Who shines so much brighter than the stars in the night
Just take my hand, and lets venture slow
And soon our love may begin to grow
