Dream flower

by Mohan   Oct 4, 2012

Still my grey sky not allowing the sunrise,
because there seems no idea
to throw your memories in the dust bin

I didn't know, until you left me
Your promises were written in the seashore
but my unlucky status never left me

My garden is filled with injured flowers
No more breezes in my window
even my night sky passed without a single star

Some nights i struggle without words to say
Darkness became my one-way life
I'm always hearing the sad melodies

A battle I have, with my feelings
Definitely, you'll never come back?
but i can't answer for my little hope

My sky still searching you
but you are like a dream flower
It's not real

Waiting for you? it's a long-life pain
No more pain
Please come back
At least, tell me the way to forget you

  • This is a heartbreaking yet beautiful poem.
Your expression is strong, and I like the 'dream flower' idea you had.

    Watch your capitalisation.

I really connect with the line:

'but my unlucky status never left me'

^^ I just love it. Probably for multiple reasons, but I really you have worded it perfectly.

    A really great piece, Mohan.
    Well done. 5/5

This is a really somber poem, full of a long of lingering pain and emotional love.
Heartbreak, it is really beautifully written though.
    "My sky still searching you
but you are like a dream flower
    It's not real"
^ That stuck out to me a lot, felt it deep within my heart as well as the ending.
Nicely done, keep your head up.
