No Longer

by Miss Lonely Teacher   Oct 4, 2012

When I pick up the phone to say "I love you"
it's no longer your voice i want to hear answering me ..
when I'm crying alone in bed
it's no longer your warmth I want to comfort me ..
when I laugh so hard I cry,
or cry so hard I fall,
it's no longer your arm I want to steady me.

it's no longer you I want drying my tears,
no longer your lips I want to feel,
no longer you I want saving me from my fears,
no longer your name I want to taste on my lips,
no longer you I want whispering goodnight,
and no longer your hands i crave on my hips.

I know it's wrong that it's no longer your essence i want claiming me as yours.
and I'm sorry it's no longer you I want as mine.
