Secrets and Lies

by Someone Invisible   Nov 5, 2012

Listen close but don't say a word,
secrets are among us,
always are secrets heard.

Around and 'round they do circulate,
Unbeknownsed to those who told them,
and they realize the damage a bit too late.

Broken relationships friendly or platonic,
faded now the bonds that once were strong,
lets make amends before our hate accelerates.

Words can get twisted and turned,
coming and going from mouth to mouth,
and those who play with fire always get burned.
