My precious Saffie.....I know I know I have said it many times, but.....I can't help but feel like Andrea when she reads my poetry. She watched me grow since I was 13 yrs old as a writer and she smiles as my love for it grows deeper and my writes become more passionate....I smile when reading your work thinking the same thing..you're clearly a fast learner because this is one hell of a poem, one of your bests that's for sure!

Loved the imagery so much in this poem and that last line left me so saddened....what a tone you set here, I mean seriously, the descriptions make this poem epic. :)

The imagery in this is flawless. It's unique, too...because I've never seen anyone write about burning their tears or ever heard of anyone doing it... it's actually a really good idea. Burning away the tears, kind of like trying to burn it away from your memory.

This is sad yet hopeful in places, the emotion is so evident, it really spoke to me through my own tears, you touched on parts of me that needed to be heard, you wrote something here that I completely adore, it is so emotionally touching, so raw and really well penned.

I love the imagery, really heartbreaking yet beautiful at the same time, so vivid...so we can see exactly what is happening...amazing
