Tree Top Excursion

by Zach Buenger   Nov 12, 2012

Skittering towards an unknown end
Across platforms of barren limbs
Only led by nature,

Without understanding
Without meaning
Without sense of direction
The destination is straight ahead

Another worlds' end leads to backtracking,
There is no second guessing
Just another path to seek out
And another end to find doubt

As breeze cascades over the canopy
Leaves find themselves obstructing fate
So does one stay on track
Or find their way back.

Understanding lies within interlaced branches
And guidance is concealed on the breath of a whisper,
Fate is meant to be followed
But never truly found
