Mask

Behind this mask I hide
Just trying to conceal
The pain that is inside
For it feels so unreal
Not that you would care
Just continue to glare

Into the shadows I try to fade
Let Death take its grip on me
Don't try to come to my aid
Is this not the only way
To escape the burning flame
With my heart it tries to claim

I can't help but cry
And wish I could die

    I just have to nominate this, I hope it wins, THIS IS A FANTASIC POEM, it has so much meaning and emotion, it felt like it was calling out to me and in huge pools of your heart, making me feel bits of the emotion and taking my breath away, love it
