How is it that I can make you smile?
What of me is worth your while?
Your beauty outshines me,
Unnoticed is my glow.
I'm just a star lost in the universe,
You're the sun that steals the show.
Yet somehow you turn your face
and notice my flicker among many in this space.
I ask of you, Lord, what can I do?
When I am but nothing, a speck compared to you.
